The Corporate Council on Africa (CCA) is the leading U.S.-based Chamber of Commerce focused specifically on business and investment in Africa.
In 2022, the Corporate Council on Africa partnered with the Kingdom of Morocco to host the 2022 U.S.-Africa Business Summit in Marrakech and the U.S.-Africa Business Forum in Washington, D.C. as part of President Biden's U.S.-Africa Leaders Summit. The next meeting of the U.S.-Africa Business Summit (USABS) will be held July 11-14 in Gaborone, Botswana. CCA expects registration to open in March 2023, anticipating about 1,100 attendees.
Business need not be CCA members to attend, but different pricing options will apply based on the location of a business and its CCA membership status.
The U.S. Embassy Gaborone will support the participation of a high-level U.S. delegation to attend the USABS, and will also work to facilitate business connections and information sharing for firms interested in business opportunities in Botswana.
South Africa AmCham members are welcome to engage U.S. Embassy Gaborone's Economic and Commercial team for engagement in Botswana on the USABS and any other business considerations in Botswana.
