Mandatory EPR came into effect in South Africa on 5 May 2021 under Section 18 of NEMWA. The implications of the section h created uncertainty for both Producers & Brand Owners around the payment of EPR levies. With this in mind, the session aims to engage with the DFFE and other industry associations to gain further understanding and guidance on the topic.
