    Golden is a Senior Technical Director for Africa on the continental USAID Africa Trade and Investment (ATI) activity, designed to bolster the U.S. Government’s ability to boost trade and investment to, from, and within the African continent. The continent-wide program is USAID’s flagship effort supporting the Prosper Africa initiative and will expand and accelerate two-way trade and investment between African nations and the United States.

    Golden is an inclusive private sector business model expert and an accomplished Team Leader on five multi-million-dollar multi-country programs and runs the consulting firm, Ndarama Works (Pty) Ltd (https://www.ndaramaworks.com/) as founder and CEO. Prior to this role, he was the Chief of the Party of the USAID Southern Africa Trade and Investment Hub, where he championed buyer-supplier linkages between US buyers and African suppliers utilizing the AGOA framework. He brings 28 years of experience in market systems development, agribusiness development, and value chain analysis. He has led multi-country projects supporting trade, investment, market linkages, and income growth in Africa in various sectors. Golden brings hands-on experience in fostering private sector-led development and the development of inclusive business models that strengthen links between buyers and suppliers in various value chains. He is passionate about innovation ecosystems and harnessing the power of the market to address socioeconomic challenges.
